Wednesday (02/11), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held the Unversitas Gadjah Mada Achievement Award Night 2022 at Graha Sabha Pramana which is part of the UGM 73rd Anniversary event. This award is given to outstanding individuals from students, lecturers, researchers, educators, and work units, to alumni. In 2022, UGM will give 81 awards divided into 12 categories. These categories include Outstanding Alumni, Outstanding Lecturers, and Researchers, Awards in Research, Community Service, and Outstanding Lecturers.
The Achievement Award Night event was opened with remarks by Prof. dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med., Sp.OG(k)., Ph.D., as Chancellor of Universitas Gadjah Mada. The Chancellor said that this award aims to encourage students, lecturers, researchers, teaching staff, work units, and alumni to be able to give their best contribution and performance so that it is beneficial for Universitas Gadjah Mada and society at large. This award is interpreted as an expression of gratitude as well as UGM’s pride for its dedication to working creatively, effectively, and innovatively to develop UGM.
Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM received several awards from Unversitas Gadjah Mada. The Outstanding Lecturer and Researcher award was given to Widya Paramita, SE, M.Sc., Ph.D. as Winner of the Best Publication in the Field of Social Humanities 2022. Furthermore, the Lecturer with Achievement category was awarded to Choirunnisa Arifa, SE, M.Sc., Ph.D., Ak., CA as Learning Innovation Winners (MOOCs) through ELOK. The next category is Education Personnel with Achievement given to Dian Asmara D, SS, as the 2nd Best Inspirational Staff in Academic, Student Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Cooperation and Kinan Yoga Perdana, A.Md., as the 1st Best Inspirational Staff in the Field of Planning, Law, Human Resources, and Finance. In addition, the Faculty of Economics and Business also won First Place in a protocol competition at UGM.
The Achievement Award was held again in a series of events at UGM’s 73rd Anniversary as a symbol of its gratitude. Congratulations to all recipients of the Achievement Human Award, hopefully, they can give their best contribution to Universitas Gadjah Mada.
