The JIEB invites researchers and practitioners in the field of Economics, Business, and Accounting to submit papers for the JIEB Best Paper Award 2010. The paper can be either Indonesian or English, preferably in English. The paper should be original, previously unpublished, and relevant to the current issues in the three fields. Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition by experts from Gadjah Mada University, other respected universities, and the JIEB editors.

- Global Economic Crisis.
- Decentralization, Backward Region, and Regional Competitiveness.
- Poverty Reduction and Unemployment.
- Infrastructure Development.
- Industry and Trade Development.
- Macroeconomics and Sectoral Policy Analysis.
- Climate Change and Sustainable Development.
- ASEAN Economic Community 2015.
Management and Accounting:
- Leading in Crisis.
- How Companies and Industries Survive in Crisis.
- Good Governance in the Public and Private Sectors.
- Capital and Foreign Exchange Market.
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
- Small and Medium Enterprises (SME).
The winners will be invited to present their paper at a seminar celebrating the 56th anniversary of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) in September 2010; they will be granted monetary prizes and given priority for publication in the JIEB.

Submission Guidelines:
Authors are invited to submit research and application papers complying with the JIEB manuscripts style (http://www.jebi.fe.ugm.ac.id/index.php?content=editorialpolicy). The author must provide the following information on the cover page: paper title, authors’ names, affiliations, postal address, phone, fax, and e-mail address of the author(s), a 250-word abstract, and about five keywords. The paper must be a maximum of 30 pages in length, on A4-sized paper, with double-spaced text in 12-point Times New Roman.
