
The Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) continues strengthening its global academic presence by actively collaborating with world-renowned universities. As part of this commitment, FEB UGM explored potential educational cooperation with the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia, during a visit held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM.
The University of Queensland delegation led by Ana AbuBakar as Regional Manager (Onshore, Malaysia & Singapore) and Fitria Arsianti as Principal Advisor Southeast Asia was received directly by the Secretary of the Master of Management (MM) Study Program, Rocky Adiguna, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D and representatives of the Global Relations and Mobility Office (GREAT) FEB UGM.
Ana AbuBakar said that the University of Queensland is open to cooperation in education in undergraduate and postgraduate programs. In addition, it offers collaboration in research, visiting professor programs, and implementation of summer school programs.
Meanwhile, FEB UGM welcomed the University of Queensland’s cooperation offer and agreed to implement several joint initiatives. These include organizing information sessions about studying at the University of Queensland, collaborating on research projects, and conducting joint workshops.
FEB UGM strengthens strategic cooperation with the University of Queensland by building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. FEB UGM aims to expand global access and opportunities for its students and lecturers through this collaboration.
