Signing of Cooperation MoU between FEB UGM and Danacita

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) has collaborated with PT Inclusive Finance Group (Danacita) which was officially signed during the Cooperation MoU Signing event on Friday (24/06). The event was held offline in the Kertanegara Meeting Room FEB UGM which was attended by representatives from the FEB UGM and Danacita. The representatives from Danacita were Ketty Lie as the Founder of Danacita and Alfonsus Dwianto Wibowo as the President Director of Danacita. Meanwhile, representatives from FEB UGM who attended the event were Bayu Sutikno, M.SM., Ph.D as Vice Dean for Academic and Students Affairs and Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, SE., M.A., Ph.D as Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni.
The event began with remarks from FEB UGM which was delivered by Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, SE., M.A., Ph.D as Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni. In his speech, Gumilang stated that there are student needs that must be met by the faculty in order to create excellent students and hopes that the presence of Danacita can be an integrated solution for students from various levels.
The event then continued with a remark from Danacita which was delivered by Alfonsus Dwianto Wibowo, the President Director of Danacita. In his remarks, he briefly explained about Danacita, which has been established since 2018. Danacita is the only P2P Lending that focuses on educational institutions and has been registered with OJK. Danacita wants to present an alternative solution for students to continue their studies. Therefore, it is hoped that an active and warm collaboration with FEB UGM can continue to be built so that Danacita will be able to realize the company’s vision and become a working partner who can provide value and support.
Next was the highlight of the event, which was the signing session of the cooperation MoU and the giving of placards from each party. The signing of the MoU of the cooperation indicates that there has been an official agreement between FEB UGM and Danacita regarding the agreed financing cooperation for students. In more detail, the cooperation scheme related to the financing, mechanisms, and so on is further explained in the presentation of materials by Danacita. It was also explained that Danacita offers education financing application services for students that are easy to process, the Danacita Partner Dashboard service for faculty as a one-stop dashboard to monitor all processes, and system integration through API integration with academic and campus financial systems.
In addition, in the future there will be several plans for a series of collaborations between FEB UGM and Danacita in the form of financing socialization during new student admissions activities, student development webinars, and media and system integration. Danacita also hopes that there will be further stages of cooperation implementation in the future. The event ended with a question and answer session between FEB UGM and Danacita.
