The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), conducted an Official Document Writing Training session for professional staff in an in-person event on Monday, February 10, 2025, on the 5th floor of the Pertamina Tower Building. This training aimed to enhance professional staff’s knowledge and understanding of official document writing standards.
The Head of the FEB UGM Administrative Office, Nur Bakti Susilo, S.E., Ak., CA., ASEAN CPA., stated that this training enabled participants to gain a deeper understanding of official document writing.
“We hope that staff members will master and effectively apply official document writing skills, ensuring that each unit produces documents that meet UGM’s standards,” Nur explained
Farida Yuliani, S.S., M.A., Coordinator of Administrative Affairs at UGM’s Office of Strategic Management, was the speaker at the training. She provided an in-depth discussion of official documents, covering their types, key components, writing guidelines, and common mistakes in their preparation.
“Effective official document writing aims to establish clear and efficient written communication, ensure administrative order, maintain document uniformity, strengthen institutional identity, and improve the quality of administrative products,” Farida explained.
Farida also stressed the importance of proper language use, emphasizing correct sentence structures in accordance with the Enhanced Spelling System (EYD) and the Indonesian Language Spelling Guidelines (PUEBI).
This training in official document writing reflects FEB UGM’s commitment to developing human resource skills, particularly in preparing professional documents that meet UGM standards.
