Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) received a staff mobility program visit from Lund University, Sweden, on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. This visit is part of the international mobility program to strengthen collaboration with partner universities globally.
Baiba Thomaeus, a staff member of the Mobility and Student Experience section at Lund University, visited FEB UGM to explore staff mobility cooperation under the Erasmus+ program. This initiative strengthens international collaboration, particularly in student and academic staff exchanges.
The visit began with a campus tour, where the GREAT (Global Relations and Mobility Office) FEB UGM team introduced FEB UGM’s academic environment, facilities, and student learning activities.
“Through this visit, I can see firsthand how FEB UGM manages relations with international partners, especially the role of the GREAT unit, which is very strategic,” said Baiba.
After the campus tour, Baiba discussed the GREAT unit’s main tasks. GREAT Administrative Coordinator, Ida Noviyantie, S.S, M.A., explained the scope of work of the GREAT unit, ranging from managing student and lecturer exchange programs, global partnerships, and membership of international organizations to the admission of International Undergraduate Program (IUP) students.
This visit reflects FEB UGM’s commitment to continue encouraging sustainable internationalization programs. Through strong international cooperation, FEB UGM hopes to continue improving education quality, expand global networks, and provide cross-cultural learning experiences for students and academic staff.
