Friday (15/09), the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), together with TipTip, held a Talk Show with the topic “Digital Business Trends”. This activity aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. This event was held at the Pertamina Tower Auditorium, located on the 6th floor of FEB UGM. On this occasion, the resource person present was Nuruddin Al Fithroh, Chief Sales Officer of Tip Tip, who discussed future digital business opportunities. He opened the presentation by providing an introduction to the TipTip company profile.
TipTip is a platform that connects the creator ecosystem and community, enabling them to engage and monetize through various channels. This application is here to help creators and developing communities generate income from existing opportunities. There are four activities offered by TipTip, namely Creator and Community, Promoter, Brand, and Supporter. Through the Creator and Community menus, TipTip helps creators start monetization and manage memberships and audiences. Through the Promoter, TipTip helps with sales and earns commissions, monitors sales performance, and draws revenue. Through Brand, TipTip seeks to provide additional income for creators and communities, as well as brand exposure. Meanwhile, through Supporter, TipTip helps users purchase content, subscribe to their favourite creators, and interact directly with them through events or live sessions.
Three key differences and unique aspects of TipTip are: First, this platform provides solutions for new creators and communities to monetize through various channels. TipTip also supports community engagement and membership engagement, seeking regular income through paid subscriptions. Second, TipTip increases revenue for new creators and the community through a network of promoters. This is achieved by opening up monetization opportunities for creators, including those with fewer followers. TipTip also seeks to increase the number of buyers through promoters and community events. Third, TipTip maintains closer relationships with community members through various events. To implement this, TipTip is building micro-communities in Indonesia and hosting hybrid meetings (online and offline) to engage with fans.

This increase was caused by growth in revenue from data services and digital services.
