Pelantikan KAFEGAMA DI Yogyakarta

Friday (16/2), the Central Management of Alumni Families of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (PP KAFEGAMA) officially inaugurated the Regional Management of KAFEGAMA for the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) for the 2024-2027 period. The inauguration was led directly by the General Chairperson of KAFEGAMA, Dr. Perry Warjiyo, S.E. M.Sc., Ph.D., in the Auditorium of the Learning Center Building, Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (FEB UGM).

Dr. Bogat Agus Riyono, M.Sc., Ak., CA., as an alumnus of the FEB UGM Accounting study program class of 1983 and also a Lecturer at Brawijaya University, was appointed as general chairman of KAFEGAMA DIY for the 2024-2027 term of service. At the exact location and time, the Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, S.E., M.Com., Ak., CA., was also appointed the ISEI Yogyakarta Branch chairman for the 2023-2026 term. The inauguration event was attended by around 92 people, representing administrators from the KAFEGAMA DIY and ISEI Yogyakarta Branch.

The event began with the singing of the song Indonesia Raya as an opening. It was followed by reading a prayer by Rudy Badrudin as deputy chairman of the KAFEGAMA DIY Regional Management for 2024-2027. The activity continued with reading the text of the Inauguration Charter by Dr Perry and the symbolic pinning of pins to the chairman of ISEI and the chairman of the KAFEGAMA Yogyakarta branch.

In his speech, Dr Perry explained how stability, downstream, inclusion, digitalization, and ABG (Academics, Business, and Governance) actively advance the economy. “We are united, harmonious, but still migunani: how can we together, ISEI and KAFEGAMA, maximize our contribution to the economy, nationally and in each region,” he said.

Perry explained that downstream at ISEI and KAFEGAMA is from the people and for the people. The downstream activities also include agriculture, plantations, animal husbandry and fisheries. Digitalization at various levels and implementing ABG are essential aspects of the national economy. The speech then closed with the vision, program, and the same components that drive a real contribution to the Indonesian economy. The union of these two organizations shows unity between academics, business people and policymakers. Guyub, harmonious, migunani KAFEGAMA and ISEI Yogyakarta!
