Management Events: Exposure 2024

Students of the Management Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), part of The 18th Management’s Events, organize EXPOSURE 2024 to advance the local creative industry. This event is held from July 19-21 at the Main Atrium of Plaza Ambarrukmo and Alun-Alun Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta.

The Project Director of EXPOSURE 2024, Aqila Mazaya, stated that EXPOSURE 2024 is held to raise public awareness about the local creative industry. Through this event, they collaborate with various MSMEs and creative industry enthusiasts in Indonesia to showcase their works and share insights about the ever-growing potential of the local creative industry.

“This EXPOSURE event features dozens of local brands from both inside and outside Yogyakarta, divided into two segments: Lifestyle and Food & Beverages,” she explained on Friday (7/19) after the opening of EXPOSURE.

Aqila explained that EXPOSURE is a pioneer of thematic curated markets in Yogyakarta, which has been held since 2015. The event aims to provide a platform for local entrepreneurs, artists, and emerging artists in Indonesia to introduce their creative products. Additionally, EXPOSURE offers an opportunity for the public to celebrate the Indonesian creative industry.

“This event supports the national creative industry and accommodates various MSME business brands to market their products strategically,” she explained.

This year, EXPOSURE, themed “Metropolis,” consists of three main activities. First, the Curated Market features dozens of local brands inside and outside Yogyakarta. Second, the Interactive Booth is an interactive and creative space for visitors. EXPOSURE 2024 also collaborates with artists from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta to create installations and decorations that combine art, technology, and games, called “Metro Corner,” and local artist The VAMVAM, to build installations within the photo booth. The next activity is entertainment in the form of live music featuring new musicians on the EXPOSURE 2024 stage, including a lineup of selected guest stars.
