KAFEGAMA 2004 Donates Laptops to Students

The Alumni Family of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Universitas Gadjah Mada (KAFEGAMA) Class of 2004 has donated laptops to support the studies of FEB UGM students.
The donation, consisting of three laptops, was handed over to the Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, S.E., M.Com., Ak., CA., by the Chairperson of KAFEGAMA 2004, Desti Sarah Sagita, S.E., M.Sc., at the Alumni Hall of FEB UGM on Friday, August 9, 2024. These laptops will be made available to students, especially those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds or those who have yet to acquire a laptop, through FEB UGM's laptop loan service.
The recipients of this laptop loan assistance are Annisa Fathonah Sholekah (IE 2024), Nadine Tektanova Devina (Accounting 2024), and Riska Nanda Radisa (Management 2024). They were selected as recipients of the laptop loan assistance after going through a selection process at FEB UGM.
Desti Sarah Sagita, S.E., M.Sc., Chairperson of KAFEGAMA 2004, stated that this donation of laptops is a way for alumni to contribute to the development of the campus. She hopes that this assistance will help the students complete their studies.
"We hope this assistance will support the students' learning process and enable them to study more effectively. We also hope that these students will be able to pass on this goodwill to future students in the coming years," said the Economics alumna.
In addition to donating laptops, KAFEGAMA 2004 will mentor students, especially in survival skills. This mentoring will take place regularly every semester.
The Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, S.E., M.Com., Ak., CA., expressed his gratitude to the alumni, especially the Class of 2004, for their support in helping the students of FEB UGM in their studies. He hopes that with this donation of laptops, no student will face any difficulty studying at FEB UGM.
"Thank you to the alumni for showing concern for their juniors by providing tools to help them complete their assignments and projects. These efforts are greatly appreciated," he said.
Didi emphasized that FEB UGM is firmly committed to becoming an inclusive campus by providing equal access to education for all.
"FEB UGM is a home for all students from Sabang to Merauke from different economic backgrounds. That is why we are delighted to have the support of KAFEGAMA to help facilitate the studies of students from less fortunate families through this donation of laptops," he said.
Didi also advised the student recipients of the laptop lending assistance to make good use of the facilities provided by FEB UGM. He hopes that this assistance will support their studies until they graduate.
One of the laptop lending recipients, Nadine Tektanova Devina, expressed her happiness at being selected for alumni support. She hopes that the facilities provided will help her study at FEB UGM.
"I am a recipient of the Single Tuition Fee (UKT) Scholarship for Excellence, fully subsidized (UKT 0), and I recently applied for a laptop loan from the faculty. Thank you, alumni, for your support," she said.
Meanwhile, Riska Nanda Radisa expressed her hope that the laptop lending assistance would be beneficial in supporting her studies in the future.
"FEB UGM has excellent facilities for its students with many innovations, including this laptop lending assistance. I thank FEB UGM and the alumni for providing this support, and I hope I can make good use of it to support my studies," she said.
