The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) has been awarded as the Best Implementing Official for Information and Documentation Management (PPID) at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). This award was given to FEB UGM's PPID for achieving the highest performance score in public information services, thereby supporting UGM's transparency through the 2024 Evaluation and Monitoring of UGM's Public Information Services.
During the 2024 UGM Achievers Award Night held on the evening of Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Grha Sabha Pramana UGM, FEB UGM, represented by Academic and Student Affairs Coordinator Wieda Herdiana, S.S., M.Sc., received the award from UGM Vice Rector for Human Resources and Finance Prof. Dr. Supriyadi, M.Sc.
Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, S.E., M.A., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Collaboration, and Alumni Affairs at FEB UGM, expressed his gratitude for FEB's recognition as the top performer in providing information services at UGM. He attributed this success to the hard work and collaboration of all FEB UGM units in ensuring accessible information services for the academic community and the public.
"We are grateful for this achievement, which also demonstrates our commitment to providing easy access to information services effectively and transparently," he said on Thursday (11/14).
Gumilang emphasized FEB UGM's strong commitment to continuously improving the quality of public information services. This is in line with UGM's efforts to promote transparency and openness.
"FEB UGM is fully committed to improving the quality of information services that are transparent, accountable, and effective for the public," he added.
FEB UGM has developed several innovations to support accessible, effective, and transparent information services for its academic community. One such innovation is digitizing services to facilitate public access to information. FEB UGM has developed an online platform, the Integrated Economic and Business Information System (SINTESIS), designed to enable access to information, increase transparency, and encourage public participation. This platform also represents the development of an integrated data ecosystem that includes 34 integrated service information systems covering academics, student affairs, human resources, collaborations, and asset management.
In addition, as another innovation, FEB UGM has established a one-stop integrated service center in the Integrated Office. This information center is staffed by service personnel from various FEB UGM units, making public services more effective. In addition, FEB UGM has integrated its online services with the UGM PPID website, the UGM Alumni portal, and other external information systems while providing disability-friendly services.
