The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) established on September 19th, 1955, is the oldest business school in Indonesia. FEB UGM is committed to always being the leading economics and business faculty in Indonesia to face global challenges. FEB UGM also strives to further develop leaders who have integrity and intelligence in society as well as contribute to facing various challenges.
FEB UGM is always committed to applying the Three Pillars of Higher Education by advancing and developing education, especially in economic and business fields in Indonesia. FEB UGM has produced more than 20.000 alumni, and currently, there are 5.500 students from all parts of Indonesia and the world, studying in various degrees of education. Equipped with more than 66 years of experience, FEB UGM will always contribute to solving both local and global challenges. To actualize our efforts, FEB UGM is supported by more than 200 lecturers who are highly competent in their field of expertise.
As a leading business school that is accredited and recognized nationally and internationally, FEB UGM has a vast network connection and is a member of various organizations, such as the Global Business School Network (GBSN), Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), Network of International Business and Economics Schools (NIBES), The Association of Asian-Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS), ASEAN University Network for Business and Economics (AUN-BE).
The quality of teaching and learning is also a major focus in faculty development. FEB UGM has proven itself to be the first state business school in Indonesia to obtain international accreditation from The Association of Collegiate School of Business (AACSB) in 2014. Continuously showing consistency in maintaining the quality, FEB UGM was awarded the extended accreditation of AACSB in 2019 and obtained the Superior and “A” accreditation from BAN-PT.
The challenges ahead will be more complex. Hence, FEB UGM will continue to strive to make the best contribution to the nation's development. Therefore, we need collaboration, synergy, and full support from all stakeholders, including students, lecturers, faculty staff, alumni, parents of students, and the wider community.
