Reuni Kafegama 2000

The silver reunion of the Family of Alumni of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (KAFEGAMA) class of 2000 was a meaningful moment, not only for nostalgia but also for sharing, through the provision of scholarships for FEB UGM students. The event, themed Tilik Kampus 2025: Selawe Saklawase, was held at the FEB UGM Hall on Saturday (6/9).

Chairman of the KAFEGAMA 2000 Reunion Committee, Yacob Yahya, an alumnus of the Accounting program, expressed his pride in returning to campus after a quarter of a century. He emphasized that the reunion was a moment to reminisce and an opportunity to contribute to the advancement of education and the development of the faculty.

“For the first time in 25 years, we are gathered again. We want to express our gratitude to FEB UGM for being open to alumni returning to campus to reminisce and strengthen engagement with the faculty,” he said.

Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.Com., Ak., CA., in his remarks, appreciated the contribution of alums in supporting the faculty’s development. He highlighted that alum participation through mentoring and curriculum enhancement is highly anticipated.

In addition to providing scholarships, KAFEGAMA 2000 also donated trees to be planted within the FEB UGM environment as a form of commitment to sustainability. Through this silver reunion, the alumni celebrated nostalgic memories and made meaningful contributions to their alma mater.
