The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), continues to strengthen its international partnerships through a double-degree collaboration with the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University, China. In the first semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year, four FEB UGM students will become the inaugural cohort of the program.
The selected students are Alexander Levin Djuaputra (International Undergraduate Program in Accounting, Class of 2024), Dominick Chai (International Undergraduate Program in Management, Class of 2024), Rahel Anastasia Nainggolan (International Undergraduate Program in Management, Class of 2024), and Wilma Juliana Margaretha Aguw (International Undergraduate Program in Management, Class of 2024). They will undertake the two-year double degree program from August 2026 to June 2028.
Notably, all members of this inaugural cohort have been awarded full scholarships by the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. The scholarships cover tuition fees, accommodation, and living expenses throughout their studies in China.
Bayu Sutikno, S.E., M.S.M., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of FEB UGM, stated that the success of these four students in securing full scholarships for the double degree program at Peking University is a remarkable achievement and reflects the international recognition of the quality of FEB UGM students.
“FEB UGM warmly congratulates our four undergraduate students for earning full scholarships to pursue a double degree at the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, China. This accomplishment demonstrates the excellence of FEB UGM students and serves as international recognition of their achievements,” he said.
According to Bayu, the double degree program offers more than academic enrichment. It also equips students with global perspectives that are increasingly essential in today’s interconnected business environment.
“We hope the four students will enjoy their studies at one of China’s leading universities. In addition to mastering academic knowledge, we encourage them to learn about the local culture and build international friendships that will become valuable professional networks in the future,” he added.
One of the scholarship recipients, Alexander Levin Djuaputra, expressed his gratitude and pride at being part of the first cohort of the FEB UGM–Guanghua School of Management, Peking University double-degree program.
“My learning experience during the past two years in the International Undergraduate Program at FEB UGM prepared me well for the scholarship selection process,” Levin said.
For Levin, continuing his studies at Peking University is a significant milestone. As one of the world’s top universities, currently ranked 13th globally, Peking University offers an exceptional opportunity to develop both academically and through international exposure.
“I am determined to make the most of this opportunity and hope that the experiences I gain will benefit other FEB UGM students who aspire to receive the Peking University scholarship in the future,” he said.
Levin also expressed his appreciation to the lecturers and the entire FEB UGM academic community for their continuous support throughout his studies. He hopes his achievement will inspire fellow students to pursue international learning opportunities with confidence.
The double degree program represents FEB UGM’s strong commitment to providing world-class international learning experiences for its students. The departure of these four students marks an important milestone in the implementation of the double-degree partnership between FEB UGM and the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University.
