FEB Student Won Silver Medal in the 7th Tirak Taekwondo International Championship in Thailand

Taekwondo team of Universitas Gadjah Mada participated in the competition "The 7th Tirak Taekwondo International Championship" in Thailand which was attended by more than 20 countries such as Thailand, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, and others. UGM dispatched 6 athletes and 2 managers. One of the six athletes, Mahardhika Sekar Pramudita is a student Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada majoring in Economics (2014).
The competition was held on 21st October 2017 at John Paul II Sports Center, Assumption University Suvarnabhumi Campus, Bang-Bo, Thailand. Dita competed in the category of Kyorugi A (over 18 years old) Senior- Women under 49kg and won silver medal after lose in final round with athlete from Nepal. Until the final round, Dita had been through the preliminary round and played for 3 times.
Overall, UGM taekwondo team won 4 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal.
