UGM Students team, consist of three student from Faculty of Economics and Business named Muhammad Bilal Dzulqo’dah Martisnen (Management 2015), Rahmad Fitrian Prabowo (Management 2015) and Titto Airlangga Naufal (Economic 2015), and one student from Faculty of Law named Qonita Suci Febriyanti (Law 2014) have won the 1st and 2nd place in Capital Market Competition (CAPTION) 2018 held at Pekalongan University on March 24th, 2018.
Capital Market Competition (CAPTION) 2018 is an open competition for diploma and undergraduate students enrolled in all universities in DI Yogyakarta and Central Java. This activity was held by the Capital Market Study Group (KSPM) of Universitas Pekalongan. This year CAPTION theme was “Capital Market the Real Treasure”. The purpose of this competition is to improve students’ ability, to broaden their mind regarding any news or update occurring in the world of capital market. CAPTION 2018 also meant to be as a networking event, an in-depth introduction of capital market theory and as a place to practice to invest or doing stock transactions virtually.
CAPTION 2018 was attended by 53 teams from all universities in Yogyakarta and Central Java. The competition consists of 2 stages. The first stage was one week session of online trading and the second stage was the online capital knowledge test. Participants with the highest clarity and highest capital market knowledge test results will be invited to Universitas Pekalongan to win the top 3 prizes
