Two teams from Undergraduate Student of FEB UGM; The Christopher which consisted of Faishal Sandy Wicaksono (Management 2014), Veronika Xaveria (Management 2016), and Christopher Alvin (Management 2016), and Bulaksumur which consisted of Sathya Hita Prana (Management 2015), Raisadinda Pramesti (Management 2015), and Juanita Fatima (Accounting 2015) won the 1st and 2nd place Marketing Competition (MarCom) at The 3rd Management Euphoria 2018 held in Universitas Pertanian Bogor (Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB)) on April 21-22, 2018.
Marketing Competition was part of the grand event of The 3rd Management Euphoria 2018 which was held by Association of Management Profession IPB. On its third year, Marketing Competition IPB welcomed participants from several universities in all over Indonesia such as UI, ITB and UNPAD. Partnered with Bogor Tourism Office and Jungleland Indonesia, the theme of this event is “Enhance the Marketing Ideas by Branding the Local Tourism” to develop marketing ideas in order to expand market scope of Indonesia’s tourism objects in the middle of industry rivalry.
The first phase that was Paper Registration, participants from all around Indonesia were selected to join the next phase which is Creative Advertising. After that, participants who who succeeded made it to the final round which was Presentation and Mysterious Challenge. The final was held in Universitas Pertanian Bogor. Both FEB UGM teams got the highest accumulation score from every phase resulting in The Christopher became the winner and Bulaksumur was the runner-up.
