Undergraduate Students of Universitas Gadjah Mada, named: Vania Rahmafasti (Accounting 2016) and Krisna Attayendra (Computer Science 2015) won 3rd place in Business IT Case Competition House of Technology (Hology) 2018 on 17th-19th November 2018 at the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya, Malang.
HOLOGY (House of Technology) 2018 with the main theme “iThink: Develops Creative and Innovative Thinking to Create the Appropriate Technology”, consists of several competition: Apps Innovation, Business IT Case, Business Plan, Capture the Flag, Games Development, Competitive Programming Contest, and Smart Device.
Business IT Case consisted of three stages: Preliminary Round, Final Round, and Presentation. In Preliminary Round and Final Round, participants were given a case and expected to provide solutions in papers. In the preliminary round, only 7 teams with the best solutions are allowed to continue to the final round. In the last stage, the presentation, there are several points of assessment, one of them is creativity.
House of Technology 2018 announced that the 1st prize winner is from Universitas Brawijaya, 2nd prize winner is from Institut Teknologi Bandung and 3rd prize winner is students from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
