A team of undergraduate students from the Accounting Department of Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) won the second place in the Accounting Student Conference 2019 which was held by Accounting Study Student Association (HMPSA), Faculty of Business and Economics Universitas Atmajaya Yogyakarta (FBE UAY) on 10 until 13 April 2019.
The A team consisted of Shienny Febrian Handoko (Accounting 2016), Lushintya Ayu A.P (Accounting 2016) and Rosari Indah Cahyaningtyas (Accounting 2016).
The Accounting Student Conference 2019 (KMA) is part of the Atmajaya Accounting Week 2019 which raised a big theme regarding “Disruptive E-Commerce Issues in Taxation”. The KMA 2019 was held nationally and was attended by many teams from various universities in Indonesia.
The KMA 2019 consisted of two phases of selection, which were the paper selection and final presentation stage. The final stage was held at the Thomas Aquinas Building. The champions are Tim B from Universitas Indonesia (1st), Tim A from Universitas Gadjah Mada (2nd), and Tim C from Universitas Riau (3rd).
