Diponegoro National Capital Market Competition (DINAMIC) is a competition shown for active vocational and undergraduate students enrolled in all universities in Indonesia. This event is a series of the second event of Diponegoro Capital Market Days (DCMD) which is routinely held every year. The purpose of this competition is to improve students' ability and to form young, intelligent, and competent people who understand current events in capital market. The event also serves as a forum for socialization or an in-depth introduction of capital market theory and as a training venue to invest or stock transactions virtually.
The competition was held on April 20, 2017. Participants had to compete in 3 innings. In the first round, the preliminary round, 104 teams from various universities across Indonesia were challenged to conduct online trading for two weeks and and answer the case given by the committee for 4 days. Later, 20 teams selected from the preliminary round were invited to Diponegoro University to compete again in the semifinals. In the semifinals the participants were required to follow intelligently and trade for 120 minutes.
To determine the winner, 3 teams from the semi-finals qualified for the final round were asked to argue with themes around the capital market. Bilal and Faishal as representatives of FEB UGM won first place in the final round.
