The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) is proud again because on Saturday (11/11), one of its students succeeded in achieving a national achievement entitled Veteran Investment Competition (COMPVEST) 2023, organized by Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Universitas Pembanungan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPN YK). Veteran Investment Competition is in-line with SDGs goal 4 Quality Education and goal 8 Decent Economic Growth.

The Eagle Eye team consisting of Ali Alexander (Management 2021) and Elsa Firlyani (Management and Property Appraisal SV 2021) succeeded in winning this equity research competition. In this competition, they used an analytical focus on PT Indofood CBP Tbk. They also use a holistic approach that includes ICBP macroeconomic, industry, and competitive analysis. Valuation analysis, macroeconomic conditions and competitive factors strengthen this team's buy recommendation. In addition, the Eagle Eye team also involves technical analysis that observes market trends and ICBP share price movements, providing an additional dimension to their presentation.

Ali said that in this competition he and his team had a very exciting experience because the jury gave the Eagle Eye team criticism and suggestions that made them even better. "For example, in calculating the valuation results (the jury suggested) the value should be rounded up and adjusted to the multiple of the share price because usually the valuation value is not a multiple of the market price, for example 3,267.00, whereas if the multiple of the share is (it is better to write it) 3,270," concluded Ali. We congratulate the Eagle Eye Team, we hope they can continue to achieve and inspire.
