Saturday (17/11), the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) again added to its series of achievements: two management students won the 2023 Investment Analysis Competition (IAC) in a series of activities of The 10th Padjajaran Financial Festival (PFF) organized by the Financial Market Community – Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Padjajaran (FEB Unpad). Team This alliance consists of Ali Alexander (Management 2021), Regina Natasha (Management 2021), and Elsa Firlyan (Management and Property Valuation SV 2021) and is guided by the supervisor, namely Eddy Junarsin, Ph.D, CFP. This is a national-scale competition with the theme “Expanding Capital Market Opportunities in a Dynamic Global Economic Environment”.
The Alliance team analyzes PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, Tbk shares holistically through global economic navigation, stock valuation, and risk identification. Careful, holistic analysis of details and reasonable financial projections, combined with teamwork during the presentation, succeeded in bringing the Alliance Team to 1st place in this competition.
Ali and the team revealed that this competition was different from previous competitions because it was in English. This is a new challenge for them. Ali then advised, “For friends who want to compete, don’t be discouraged, give your best effort and just hope in Allah to give you the best.” We congratulate the Alliance Team on their achievement of becoming 1st place in the IAC 10th PEF FMC FEB Unpad. May they always achieve and inspire.
