The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), has received significant recognition. On Saturday (27/01), the GMAD Consulting Team, comprising three talented Accounting 2021 students, Raihan Mufid Rufiano, Dzaky Ardhianto Thio Pratama, and Dimas Ferdian Yudha Pradana, emerged as the winner in the prestigious national business case competition, Digital Competition Festival (DIGCOFEST) 2023.
DIGCOFEST is an annual competition organized by the Digital Business Club, Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA). With the theme “Enhance Critical Thinking to Support Sustainable Business and Implement the SDGs”, DIGCOFEST 2023 allows participants to be creative and critical to generate new, innovative, sustainable development-based business ideas.
“In this business case competition, we were challenged to solve business problems regarding sustainability. It has become a common challenge that business people often fail to implement their business because it is not sustainable,” said Raihan, a team leader.
Raihan also shared his team’s challenges during the video selection process due to their busy schedules. At that time, Raihan was doing a Community Service Program (KKN) while the other two members were doing internships. Other than that, the GMAD Consulting team remains committed to being the best in this competition.
After a series of stages, the GMAD Consulting Team was selected to advance to the final round of the competition. Thanks to a unique approach that combined innovative thinking with a deep understanding of sustainability, the GMAD Consulting Team brought home first place. On behalf of the GMAD Consulting Team, Raihan expressed his gratitude for this achievement.
