Tim IDE Times

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) received another good news. On Friday (08/12), IDE Times Team consisting of three 2021 Accounting students, namely Yovania Maria Angelita Panjaitan, Dinda Redinata Fadilah, and Azza Maisha Rani Khoirunnisa, succeeded in winning first place in the 2023 International Business Solution Competition (IBSC).

IBSC is an annual competition organized by the Business Administration Student Association (HIMABIS) at Padjadjaran University. Every year, this competition is attended by students from various universities in Southeast Asia. With the theme “Business Traceability”, IBSC 2023 provides an opportunity for participants to solve strategic business cases for companies that focus on aspects of transparency and accountability.

Unlike typical business case competitions that only require participants to propose strategies or problem solutions, this competition demands implemented solutions. The IDE Times team rose to this challenge, involving the university as a critical stakeholder and maintaining constant communication with FEB UGM and the UGM directorate throughout the process. Yovania, speaking on behalf of the team, expressed gratitude for the university’s unwavering support.

Yovania, leader of the IDE Times Team, shares reflections on their journey. Despite facing challenges, such as the competition schedule coinciding with their final semester exams, they chose to persevere. With unwavering dedication, the IDE Times Team achieved this proud feat, bringing home first place in the 2023 IBSC competition and surpassing university delegations from various countries. Representing the IDE Times Team, Yovania expresses gratitude for this remarkable achievement.

FEB UGM congratulates the IDE Times Team on their brilliant achievements!
