
The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), has established a strategic collaboration with the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. This partnership covers the tridharma of higher education: education, research, and community service.
The cooperation agreement was formalized through the signing of a memorandum of understanding by Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, S.E., M.A., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni of FEB UGM, and Rosmauli, Director of Counseling, Services, and Public Relations at the Directorate General of Taxes, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, on Wednesday (September 10) at the Kertanegara Room, FEB UGM.
Moving forward, the collaboration in education will include focus group discussions (FGDs) to provide input on curriculum development and opportunities for DJP employees to pursue further studies at FEB UGM. Meanwhile, in research and community service, the cooperation will encompass tax-related research, FGDs, and public outreach on taxation issues.
Through this synergy, FEB UGM and DJP are committed to strengthening academic capacity, producing research that supports policymaking, and making tangible contributions to community empowerment.
