FEB UGM Establish Cooperation with BPJSTK

On Friday (11/03), the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) collaborated in the fields of education, research, and community service with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (BPJSTK). The partnership was carried out as stated in the signing of the cooperation agreement between FEB UGM and BPJSTK. This event was held offline in the Kertanegara FEB UGM Meeting Room and was attended by the FEB UGM academic community and BPJSTK.

The Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Didi Achdjari M.Com., Ak., CA, hopes that this collaboration will benefit students and the academic community of FEB UGM. In addition, this collaboration is expected to encourage students to have outside experiences through internships, independent studies (Kampus Merdeka), and so on. Didi also hopes that the campus can contribute in terms of academics and research on policies formulated by institutions.

Meanwhile, the Managing Director and Human Resources of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, Abdur Rahman Irsyadi said that this collaboration with UGM had been carried out since 2017 with the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. Rahman also mentioned that UGM alumni have contributed quite a lot to BPJS. More than 200 employees at BPJS are UGM alumni and some have even occupied top positions. BPJSTK opens the biggest opportunity for FEB UGM students to join in becoming a part of BPJSTK.

Abdur Rahman also emphasized that BPJSTK has a work program from the Campus Hearing to the MBKM program. The internship program that is owned has also been standardized. There are 3 routes during an internship starting from microprudential, research opportunities, to working experience through an agency. In addition, students who partake in internships at BPJSTK also get a Work Safety Guarantee (JKK) and a Death Guarantee (JKM). BPJSTK itself in carrying out the work program with reference to the tri dharma of higher education.

The highlight of this morning’s event was the signing of two agreement documents between FEB UGM and BPJSTK. The first document was the signing of the Cooperation Agreement between FEB UGM and BPJSTK regarding the Internship Program and Student Career Development conducted by Prof. Didi Achdjari M.Com., Ak., CA and Abdur Rahman Irsyadi. Next was the signing of the SPK MMJKT for the selection of the Best Employee BPJS Employment candidates in 2022, which was carried out by Prof. Didi Achdjari M.Com., Ak., CA and Arif Zahari as Deputy Director for Human Capital. This event was closed by exchanging souvenirs between FEB UGM and BPJSTK.
