FEB UGM Collaborates with BRIN

On Friday (09/12), the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) entered into a cooperation agreement with the Governance, Economics and Public Welfare Research Organization of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) regarding research, study, development, and innovation in the field of behavioral and circular economics. This activity was held in the FEB UGM Kertanegara Room and was attended by Dr. Agus Eko Nugroho, S.E., M.Appl.Econ. as Head of Research Organization and Government Governance, Economy and Public Welfare, National Research, and Innovation Agency, Ir. Ilyas Mansur, M.T., as the Director of the Makassar Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic, Drs. Zakaria, M.Pd., as Deputy Director for Cooperation of the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic Palembang, Marwansyah, S.E., M.Ssi., Ph.D., as Director of the Bandung State Polytechnic, Ratih Indri Hapsari, ST., MT., Ph.D ., as Assistant Director IV of Malang State Polytechnic, and Dr. Afdawaiza, S.Ag., M.Ag. as Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University Yogyakarta.
This event was opened with remarks given by Drs. Agus Eko Nugroho, S.E., M.Appl.Econ., as Head of Research Organization and Government Governance, Economy and Public Welfare of the National Research and Innovation Agency. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Abdul Halim M.B.A., Ak., CA., as Chair of the Study Program of Master in Accounting. Halim explained that the Study Program of Master in Accounting FEB UGM has aspirations to participate in the success of the country's goals and improve human resources. He said that this collaboration would provide an opportunity for students from the Polytechnic to continue their education at the Master in Accounting FEB UGM through the scholarship route.
Furthermore, remarks were also given by Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, S.E., M.Com., Akt., as the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM. Didi explained that the circular economy was one of UGM's 5 research topics in 2022. Didi said that FEB UGM opened research collaborations with all parties. This openness is evidenced by the existence of a preliminary session on the day of research dissemination with partners. The goal is to promote quality education.
The collaboration carried out by FEB UGM with the National Research and Innovation Agency is regarding research and community service in the field of sustainable development and resilience studies. The activities carried out are in the form of research, study, development, and innovation in the field of behavioral and circular economics. In addition, the activities can also be in the form of seminars, workshops, training, and other forms of activity agreed upon by the parties. There are also forms of cooperation in the form of joint publications in the form of books, articles in journals, and popular scientific writings related to circular and behavioral economics
The signing of the PKS was carried out by Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, S.E., M.Com., Akt., and Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, S.E., M.A., Ph.D. as a representative of FEB UGM. This signing was carried out by Dr. Agus Eko Nugroho, S.E., M.Appl.Econ. as a representative of the National Research and Innovation Agency, Ir. Ilyas Mansur, M.T., representative from Makassar Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic, Drs. The signing activity was closed with a group photo. With this activity, it is expected to establish good friendships between institutions and cooperation that can be carried out well.
