FEB UGM Officially Signed the MOU in Accounting and Taxation with ACCA

In order to build cooperation in the field of accounting, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (FEB UGM), signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants on Thursday (5/10). This memorandum of understanding aims to regulate the establishment of profitable cooperation between the two parties, as well as prioritizing the principles of mutual cooperation in accounting and taxation.
In this signing, FEB UGM was represented by Didi Achjari, Prof. Dr., M.Com., Ak., CA. Apart from that, FEB UGM was also attended by Rusdi Akbar, M.Sc., PhD, Ak., CA., Aviandi Okta Maulana, SE., M.Acc., Ak., C.A., Ph.D., Vogy Gautama Buanaputra, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., AFHEA, Rijadh Djatu Winardi, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., CFE, and Heyvon Herdhayinta, S.E., M.Sc.., Ph. D. Meanwhile, from ACCA, the signatories were represented by Julia Simatupang (Country Manager). There was also a representative of ACCA who attended this signing, namely Muhammad Afif Alfarizi, as Business Relationship Manager.
The scope of this agreement, as stated in the MoU, primarily includes providing access to ACCA's professional development and learning resources, developing strategies and marketing for global collaboration, creating new pathways to advance careers in accounting and finance, and several areas of cooperation related to the development of accounting learning both in bachelor's and master's programs, as well as other areas of cooperation that are mutually beneficial for FEB and ACCA.
This collaboration also invites both parties to discuss further regarding ACCA Qualification, ACCA Learning, and ACCA award-winning industry insights. The signing of the MoU between FEB and ACCA aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Goal 4: quality education and Goal 17: partnership to achieve goals.
