Syariah Corner, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) will held a Guest Lecture with presenting Prof. Mehmet Asutay (from Durham University, United Kingdom). Topic on the guest lectures is "Islamic Moral Economy Foundation of Islamic Finance".
Prof. Mehmet Asutay is Director of Durham Centre for Islamic Economics and Finance; and Programme Director for M.Sc. in Islamic Finance and M.Sc. in Islamic Finance & Management; and also the Director of the Durham Islamic Finance Summer School. Prof. Mehmet is the Managing Editor of the Review of Islamic Economics; an Associate Editor of the American Journal of Islamic Social Science; and the Editorial Board of International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management and Borsa Istanbul Review.
