FEB UGM and Master of Science & Doctoral Programs Launched a Book Titled: Filosofi dan Metodologi Penelitian

Commemorating the 62nd of FEB UGM and the 37th of Master Science and Doctoral Program, Seminar and book launching titled “Filosofi dan Metodologi Penelitian” (Friday, 29/9)was held. The program was held in BRI Room, Master of Science and Doctoral Program, FEB UGM and was attended more than 200 participants.

Eko Suwardi, Ph. D., the Dean of FEB UGM, opened the event as well as delivered the keynote speech. There were 3 seminars moderated by Ertambang Nahartyo, Ph. D. The 1st session of the seminar was delivered by Prof. Dr. Jogiyanto Hartono, MBA. He delivered topics titled; Filosofi Penelitian Bidang Bisnis. The next session was delivered by Prof. Dr. Catur Sugiyanto, MA, and the title of the topic was Strategi Penelitian Semi Ethnography. In the last session, Nurul Indarti Sivilokonom, Cand., Merch., Ph.D delivered topic, titled Kajian Literatur: Pemetaan Riset Terkini dan Identifikasi Peluang. All of the four speakers are the authors of Filosofi dan Metodologi Penellitian.

Book launching would be the next agenda of the event. Book titled Filosofi dan Metodologi Penelitian is composed by FEB UGM lecturers and a doctoral student of FEB UGM. In the book launch, Prof. Jogiyanto said that the book served as the real contribution of FEB UGM to the society especially in the education development. “We dedicated the book to alumni and the society as our contribution, especially in the research level”, stated Prof. Jogiyanto.

“In its 37th, hopefully we could keep giving more and more contribution to the society. Therefore the existence of MD program is beneficial, especially in education field”, as Dr. Eko added. The book launching then was continued by parrarel session seminar by FEB UGM’s lecturers and divided into 3 departments: Accounting, Management, and Aconomics.
