FEB UGM Inaugurates Sapta Akasa Floors

On Friday (09/21), Faculty Economics and Business of Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) inaugurated the 7th floor of Learning Center building, namely Sapta Akasa. "Sapta Akasa, a name derived from the Sanskrit language that supposed to be has a meaning of Seventh Heaven, is a form of collaboration between FEB UGM and PT. Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional, Tbk, (PT JSI) to create a comfortable and friendly co-working space to support learning process and creativity activities of FEB’s students", explained by Ika Sariwaty as Senior HR GA & Employee Relations Manager of PT. JSI, Tbk.
The event was opened by the MC, then continued with the handover of prizes to the winner of Sapta Akasa logo contest by Asan Effendy, as General Manager of the Corporate Finance of PT. JSI, Tbk. Muhammad Boby Muktasimbillah as student’s of FEB UGM (Management 2018) bested 75 other contestants. This logo was chosen directly by Jan Darmadi as the President Director of PT. JSI, Tbk. because description of the logo representing the purpose of forming the Sapta Akasa.
After that, the opening of the Sapta Akasa Logo curtain was done by Kusdhianto Setiawan, Ph.D. as Vice Dean for Finance, Asset, and Human Resource FEB UGM and ribbon-cutting ceremony by Amirullah Setya Hardi, Ph.D. as Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni FEB UGM with Asan Effendy. The inauguration ceremony was closed with a mini tour of the Sapta Akasa with FEB’s staffs and students.
