UGM FEBulous Run: From KAFEGAMA to Yogyakarta

Sunday (9/22), Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEBUGM) collaborated with the Alumni Family of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (KAFEGAMA) held UGM FEBulous Run. The event, which was first held at UGM, raised the headline "The First Jogja City Run". This competition covered a distance of 10K, 5K, and 2.5K. In his remarks, Dr. Perry Warjiyo - Chair of KAFEGAMA who is also the Governor of Bank Indonesia said that this activity was the result of KAFEGAMA's hard work with the support of FEB UGM.
As the first running competition to be held, UGM Rector supported the implementation of this running competition. This event is not only a running competition, but also as a reunion event for FEB UGM alumni. "We strongly support this activity and hope that in the future it can be carried out again," said the UGM Rector, Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, M.Eng., D.Eng., IPU.
The flag off for the 10K run starts at exactly 6:00 WIB by the Rector of UGM, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, the Head of KAFEGAMA, and the Head of the Yogyakarta Regional Police. Continued flag off running 5K, and 2.5K. No less than 2,000 people took part in this running competition ranging from professional runners from various countries to novice players. "UGM FEBulous Run is a fun joint event. Thank you to KAFEGAMA who participated to enliven the 64th Anniversary of FEB UGM, "said Eko Suwardi, PhD,. (Dean of FEB UGM).
Rector of UGM, Police Chief of DIY, CEO of Garuda Indonesia, President Director of BNI also participated in the competition. Various partners also enlivened this activity so as to further increase the interest of the people of Yogyakarta. In Category 10 K (male and female), it is won by runners from Kenya and is entitled to get a ticket from Garuda Indonesia.
On this occasion, as a form of concern for the almamater, KAFEGAMA provided scholarship assistance in the amount of IDR 100,000,000. This assistance was symbolically given by the Chair of KAFEGAMA to the Dean of FEB UGM, witnessed by the UGM Rector.
