On Wednesday, 06/30, the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) established cooperation with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for providing the information resources associated with development and community empowerment in Asia. This cooperation is realized by establishing the Asian Development Resource Center (ADRC) and is held at Gadjah Mada University Library. The existence of the ADRC is expected to contribute to the academic and related community programs and community development issues in Indonesia and in Asia.
ADRC itself provides the information in the form of project results and activities of ADB in various regions, annual reports, and research results related to community development in developing countries. Besides, the existence of the ADRC is also part of ADB’s mission in the staging of poverty programs in developing countries.
Launch of ADRC conducted at Gadjah Mada University Library by the ADB Country Director, James Nugent, and Vice Dean of Academic, Research and Community Service, BM Purwanto, MBA, Ph.D., the executive director, witnessed Mr Marwanto ADB for Indonesia, and a number of guests were invited.
Both the ADB and the FEB UGM expect that with additional facilities in the library, FEB ADRC will be able to enhance and add information to library users, both for purposes of study, research, and service to the community.
