Volleyball Tournament Celebrates the 68th Anniversary

In the series of the 68th Anniversary of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), the sport of volleyball also brightened up this agenda. The 68th FEB UGM Anniversary Volleyball Tournament was held indoors in the Leadership Hall of the Master of Management (MM) FEB UGM. This volleyball was graced by eight men’s teams and three women’s teams, namely the Integrity, Academic Freedom, Professionalism, Social Concern, Green and Blue Economy, Circular Economy, Sustainability Management, and Small and Medium Enterprise teams (represented by the FEB UGM Student Volleyball Community Meanwhile, the women’s team consists of KPTU UGM, RSA UGM, and FEB UGM. Men’s volleyball is played using a knockout system, while women’s volleyball is played using a trofeo system.

The volleyball match starts on Thursday (24/8). On the first day of matches, the eight teams competed to compete for the top four or semifinals. Then, the four teams that won the first match, namely Professionalism, Integrity, Small and Medium Enterprise, and Academic Freedom, advanced to the semifinals on Friday (25/8). The results of the semifinal match determine the team that advances to the final and the game for third place on Monday (28/8). In this case, the Academic Freedom and Integrity teams competed in the final round, competing against each other until Integrity won this match and won first place. In the game for third place, the Small and Medium Enterprise team, namely FEB UGM Volleyball community students, succeeded in winning third place. After defeating the Professionalism team. Meanwhile, on the women’s volleyball side, the results of the trophy positioned KPTU UGM in first place, the RSA UGM team in second place, and the FEB UGM team in third place.

Lively photos with the teams marked the end of the 68th Anniversary of FEB UGM Volleyball. Andalas, as one of the organizing committee for this event hopes that the event of this volleyball tournament will bring excitement in the future, ignite a large community of volleyball activists at FEB UGM, and increase the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of volleyball fans, especially within the FEB UGM environment. We congratulate the Integrity and KPTU UGM teams on winning first place in the 68th FEB UGM Anniversary Volleyball tournament.
