FEB UGM Releases 81 Undergraduate Graduates Period II 2023/2024 Academic Year

Wednesday (21/02), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) graduating as many as 1577 graduates of the Undergraduate Program and Applied Undergraduate Program period II for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The event was held offline at Grha Sabha Pramana (GSP) and broadcast live via the Universitas Gadjah Mada YouTube channel. The ceremony started at 09.00 WIB, accompanied by gamelan singing, the playing of the song Indonesia Raya, and the UGM March. The ceremony opened with an opening by the Chancellor of UGM, Prof. Dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med., Ed., Sp.OG(K)., Ph.D. “After you complete your education, Gadjah Mada University hopes that you will remain committed to the development of science and technology, as well as upholding the alma mater of Gadjah Mada University,” said the Rector.

The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM held its graduation in the Function Hall on the 8th floor of the FEB UGM Learning Center Building. The event opened with a band performance from the students, singing the song Indonesia Raya, and brief remarks from the graduates and representatives of the graduates’ parents/guardians. Deputy General Chairperson of PP KAFEGAMA, who also doubles as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Inarno Djajadi, gave a few words in the form of a tapping video. Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, S.E., M.Com., Ak., CA. congratulated on the success achieved, which was then followed by awards-giving activities for graduates.

Aris Bachtiar, the best graduate of the Bachelor of Accountancy Study Program (S.Ak.) at this graduation ceremony, got the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) with a GPA of 3.89, which was completed in a study period of 4 years, four months, 16 days. The fastest graduate was Emirza Rahman from the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program (S.Ak.), with a study period of 4 years, two months, and 28 days. Meanwhile, the youngest graduate was Putu Apta Arkananta from the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program (S.Ak.), who graduated at 21 years, two months, and 12 days.

FEB UGM Bachelor graduated 81 participants with the following details:

  • 29 people from the Accounting Study Program (S.Ak.)
  • 19 people from the Economics Study Program (S.E.)
  • 33 people from the Management Study Program (S.M.)

The graduation ceremony was closed with prayer and a group photo of graduates from each study program. Congratulations to graduates and female graduates on their graduation. All the knowledge and experience gained during lectures will be helpful for your next stage in life!
