The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), graduated 208 postgraduate students from its master’s and doctoral programs at the Postgraduate Graduation Ceremony Period II of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. Before the faculty-level ceremony, FEB UGM graduates had participated in the university-wide graduation ceremony together with postgraduate students from other faculties on Wednesday (January 21, 2026) at Grha Sabha Pramana, UGM.
In this graduation period, FEB UGM conferred degrees upon nine graduates from the Master of Science in Accounting Program, 19 graduates from the Master of Accounting Program, three graduates from the Master of Science in Economics Program, six graduates from the Master of Science in Management Program, 25 graduates from the Master of Development Economics Program, 67 graduates from the Master of Management Program (Yogyakarta Campus), 71 graduates from the Master of Management Program (Jakarta Campus), three graduates from the Doctoral Program in Management Science, two graduates from the Doctoral Program in Accounting Science, and three graduates from the Doctoral Program in Economics.
The highest cumulative grade point average (GPA) was achieved by Yulistika Rahayu from the Master of Management Program, Jakarta Campus, with a perfect GPA of 4.00, completed within a study period of 1 year, 9 months, and 9 days. Meanwhile, the fastest graduate was Ito Wahyu Mukti Prasetyo from the Master of Management Program at the Yogyakarta Campus, who completed his studies in 1 year, 2 months, and 4 days. The youngest graduate was Irma Yani from the Master of Development Economics Program, graduating at the age of 23 years, 7 months, and 4 days.
Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of FEB UGM, Bayu Sutikno, S.E., M.S.M., Ph.D., conveyed his congratulations to all postgraduate graduates who had completed their studies at FEB UGM. He emphasized that graduation marks the beginning of a new journey for the graduates as they move forward into the next phase of their lives.
“This is the beginning of your journey, as you paddle through various islands of challenges and opportunities. Congratulations on your future endeavors, wherever you may be,” he remarked during the graduation send-off ceremony for the Master of Management Program at the MM FEB UGM Yogyakarta Campus on Tuesday evening (January 20, 2026).
He also expressed his hope that after graduating, alums would continue to contribute to the development of the campus, society, the nation, and the state.
“Those who hold a master’s degree are individuals with distinct strengths not only in terms of intellectual capacity, but also the ability to be wiser, more humble, and to give their best to their families and communities,” he stated.
