Bank Indonesia held the BI Learning Expo 2022 which presented various educational institutions in Indonesia and abroad, including the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (FEB UGM). By targeting all Bank Indonesia employees as the audience, the BI Learning Expo was held with the aim of supporting Bank Indonesia in optimizing the culture of continuous learning within the company. The event which lasted for five days in a hybrid manner was divided into several talk show sessions and also exhibitions from universities, educational platforms, and MSMEs.
FEB UGM had the opportunity to participate in the BI Learning Expo for three days starting from December 12-14 2022. On the first day, the event began with a talk show session titled as “Effective Learning in the Age of Digital Distraction” by Yoris Sebastian, Co-Founder of Inspigo.id, which was then followed by material sessions from UGM-IUP FEB & Accounting and IDP.
Furthermore, FEB UGM participated once more in filling out the event session on the third day. The third day’s agenda was opened with a talk show session with the theme “Resiliency from Within to the World” and continued with a material session from UGM regarding information on the MBA & Fast Track program. Apart from UGM, other universities such as IESE Business School, University of Sydney, and Warwick also took part in filling out material sessions related to their programs. The agenda on the third day ended with a talk show session with the theme “Agility and Problem Solving in the Workplace” by Dudi Arisandi, as Chief People Officer of Tiket.com.
Broadly, the material presented by FEB UGM in the sessions on both days was aimed at thoroughly disseminating information about the profile, program, curriculum, facilities owned and offered by FEB UGM to Bank Indonesia employees. One of the highlights on this occasion, FEB UGM also socialized its newest master study program, namely the ASEAN Master in Sustainability Management which is offered at MM UGM. The program is presented with the aim of developing competent candidates who can take part in leading economic development towards environmental sustainability. The ASEAN Master in Sustainability Management is a dual-degree program whose implementation is in collaboration with university partners in Southeast Asia who are members of the ASEAN University Network and also the University of Agder in Norway.
