FEB UGM Releases 191 Postgraduate Graduates Period II 2023/2024 Academic Year

Wednesday (24/01), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) graduated again as many as 836 Postgraduate Program graduates for period II of the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The event was held offline at Grha Sabha Pramana (GSP) and broadcast live via the Universitas Gadjah Mada YouTube channel. The ceremony started at 09.00 WIB, accompanied by gamelan singing, the playing of the song Indonesia Raya, and the UGM March. The ceremony opened with an opening by the Chancellor of UGM, Prof. Dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med., Ed., Sp.OG(K)., Ph.D. “I believe that the knowledge and competence you have will make a positive contribution to the development of science and technology as the first step in the adaptation and mitigation process for the nation’s development in the future,” said the Chancellor.

The next graduation ceremony was held at the faculty of each study program. Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM celebrated the postgraduate graduation from the Master in Accounting (MAKSI) study program in the Drs. Soekamto, M.Sc. Auditorium, Master in Economics Development (MEP) at the University Club (UC) Hotel, Master in Management (MBA) at the Sukadji Ranuwihardjo Auditorium MM FEB UGM Building, and Master of Science and Doctorate (MD) at the BRI Auditorium third floor, MD FEB UGM Building. This activity began with remarks by the Dean of FEB UGM, remarks and reports from the study program management, remarks from the head of the department, forewords from representatives of graduates, symbolic submission of academic transcripts, and a group photo session.

Caren Tjahjadi, the best graduate of the Postgraduate Study Program from the Master in Management (MBA) Study Program at this graduation ceremony, got the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) with a GPA of 3.98, which was completed in a study period of 1 year, eight months, five days. The fastest graduate was Muhammad Aditya Amri from the Master in Accounting (MAKSI) Study Program, who had a study period of 1 year, 7 months, and 4 days. Meanwhile, the youngest graduate was Syauqina Hening Salsabila from the Master of Science in Management, who graduated at 24.

FEB UGM Postgraduate graduated 191 participants with the following details; 4 Masters of Science in Accounting (M.Sc.), 3 Masters of Science in Economics (M.Sc.), 8 Masters of Science in Management (M.Sc.) people, 21 Masters in Accounting (M.Acc.), 4 Masters in Development Economics (M.Ec.Dev.), 66 Masters of Management (M.B.A.) in Yogyakarta Campus, 83 Masters of Management (M.B.A.) in Jakarta Campus, 1 Doctor in Management (Dr.), and 1 Doctor in Accounting (Dr.). The graduation ceremony closed with prayer and a group photo for graduates from each study program. Congratulations to graduates and female graduates on their graduation. Hopefully all the knowledge and experience gained during lectures will be useful for your next stage in life!
