The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) has received yet another piece of good news. On Friday (27/10), the Promax team consisting of three 2021 Management undergraduate students, namely Jessica Ayu Christanty, Afdelia Eva Ayu Kirana, and Rushafah Salsabila, managed to win the second place in the 2023 Management Marketing Plan Competition (MJ-MPC) which was held at Universitas Udayana.

Management Marketing Plan Competition (MJ-MPC), a prestigious marketing plan competition and a part of the Management Week 2023 organized by the Management Student Association, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, is not just a platform for showcasing talent, but also a space for innovative problem-solving. This year, under the theme “Encouraging Creative Solutions to Maximize Market Profits”, the competition aimed to inspire participants to devise creative marketing strategies for local brands, thereby ensuring their survival and success in the national and international markets.

Reflecting on their journey, Afdelia said, “We were thrilled and humbled to be among the top five finalists and to attend the final events in Bali. It was a great learning experience. The team’s solution to CV Maharani’s business case, which included increasing exports and attracting fair trade buyers, was well received by the judges. We were honored to present our ideas directly to industry leaders such as Ms. Cahya and Ms. Irene Setiawati from CV Maharani and Mr. Gufron from the Indonesia Marketing Association (IMA) Denpasar,” added Rushafa.

The Promax team also had the opportunity to visit CV Maharani, a premium handicraft industry in Bali that has been active in the international market. It is also the company that provided the case study for this competition. “When the announcement day arrived, my team and I were very nervous because this was our first offline competition with a relatively short preparation time,” recalled Jessica.

FEB UGM congratulates the Promax Team on their brilliant achievements!
