On Friday (30/09). three students from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Gadjah Mada again won the University Business Solution Challenges (UBSC 2022) competition organized by the Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) together with the Indonesian Entrepreneurship Accelerator (Akselwira) in collaboration with PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk. The FEB UGM student team named DAN Team won third place with a total prize of IDR 16,000,000. The AND team consists of Afnia Miftahul Firdaus, Doni Dzaki Taufiqurrahman and Nuzquri Adhelia Safitri, who are students of the Undergraduate Program in Management of FEB UGM, batch 2020.
This year is the second year that UBSC is holding a national-scale competition in the field of business and carries the theme “Distributing Good Energy All Over the Country”, (Indonesian, Menyalurkan Energi Baik ke Seluruh Penjuru Negeri). This event is intended for all undergraduate (S1) students in Indonesia to solve real cases in the business world. According to the DAN Team, the competition was very challenging to think critically, solve solutions, and be realistic. They present the main case that raises the issue of how PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk takes steps to distribute good energy throughout the country, especially in Java and eastern Indonesia. This case was taken because non-renewable energy such as LPG will one day run out so the ADA Team provides innovation through “Biogas Initiative Strategy Activation” abbreviated (BISA).
In this competition, the judges presented were prominent figures, namely Arie Susanto Tjahyono as Group Head Business Development PT PGNDivision Head Beyond Pipeline Business, Prof. Fathul Wahif, ST, M.Si., Ph.D. as Chancellor of UII, Dr. Ir. Arif Wismadi, M.Sc. as Director of Node Growth UII, and Johan Arifin, SE, M.Sc., Ph.D., CFrA, CertIPSAS as Dean of FEB UII. DAN Team feels very happy to be able to provide innovation through this competition and win this competition. The victory that has been achieved is dedicated to the UGM Faculty of Economics and Business. Congratulations to the DAN Team on their achievement.
