Three Undergraduate Students of Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, Ega Kurnia Yazid (Economics 2015), Lutfiyah Sungkar (Economics 2015), and Nada Serpina (Economics 2015), won 1st winner in National Paper Competition Taxplore 2018. This competition was held at the Faculty of Administration Science, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI) from Friday, 30 November 2018 until Saturday, 1 December 2018.

Two student team "The Existence" and "Hore" from Undergraduate Program Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, had successfully won the First Runner Up (2nd Place) in The 18th ATV Audit Competition by SPA Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Indonesia on November 27-28, 2018. The Existence team consisting Herlin Puspita Kuarso (Accounting 2015), Nadila Nurfairuz Amalina (Accounting 2015), and Zaskia Ulul Azmi (Accounting 2015). While Hore team consisting Made Lanang Ray Widyatmika (Accounting 2015), Phoa Jefrie Permana (Accounting-IUP 2015), dan Richie (Accounting 2015).

Three undergraduate students from Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) won 2nd place winner in the National Business Solution Competition (NBSC) 2018 held by Universitas Padjajaran collaborated with PT Danone Indonesia on November, 23-26, 2018. The Smart Accounting Competition (SAC) 2018 is an Accounting Competition held by the Accounting Education Student Association of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. This year’s theme of the Smart Accounting Competition was "Accounting to Face the 4.0 Industry." This competition had the aim of realizing a prestigious, innovative, and competitive generation, in facing the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 through Accounting Competition. The Smart Accounting Competition (SAC) 2018 was divided into 4 rounds, those were online preliminary round, elimination round, semifinal round, and final round. The online preliminary round took place on Saturday, November 3, 2018. The elimination round until the final round were held at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta on Saturday, November 17, 2018.
