International Undergraduate Program Students from Faculty of Economics and Business UGM, take part in winning 1st Place in the SBS/TBS/TEC Innovation Simulation Competition by developing a Delivery Drone system development simulation competition for demonstration and marketing at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Showcase. The team, named "Dronow", consisted of Luh Laksmita Ayu Hapsari Dwijaksara (Management-IUP 2018), Fatia Aisyah (Management-IUP 2018), and six international student from Toulouse Business School who won 1st place and received a prize of £600 in the competition.

At the Islamic Economist Association (IAEI) DIY Award 2022, Gadjah Mada University (UGM) won the award for the International Journal Article Writing of Islamic Business Management, which was won by Rokhima Rostiani. S.E., M.Mgt., lecturer on the Management Department of Faculty of Economics and Busines UGM. Sambatan Jogja (SONJO) also received a special award for humanitarian action during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, UGM was also nominated in the category of Organizing Masters Study Programs with a concentration in Islamic Economics in the Masters of Religion and Cross-Cultural Masters Study Program.

The CPA team from undergraduate students of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM consisting of Ratna Sari (Accounting 2018), Wulandari (Accounting 2018), and Yadi Suryadi (Accounting 2018) under the guidance of Mr. Haryono, M.Comm, Ak., CA, as a Lecturer in the Accounting Department FEB UGM, won 2nd place in the 21st ATV FEB UI competition for the Audit Competition category.

180 Degrees Consulting UGM (180DC UGM) won a bronze medal for the Best Consulting Project award given for the Strategic Market Entry Plan to Indonesia for Planet Protector Packaging and was awarded the title of Best New Branch in the Asia Pacific Region. This award was given by 180 Degrees Consulting Global which was presented through the Global Awards Ceremony on Saturday (13/11).

In commemoration of the 72nd Anniversary of Gadjah Mada University (UGM), on Wednesday (17/11) Universitas Gadjah Mada held the UGM Person Achievement Awarding Night 2021. the UGM Person Achievement Awarding Night 2021 is an award event for lecturers, education staff, students, and UGM alumni. The UGM Person Award night was held at the Grha Sabha Pramana Building. In addition to awarding awards, the UGM Student Achievement Awarding Night was enlivened by a number of performances of Indonesian music and dances. The event is held in a hybrid manner, held through limited offline channels and can be watched online via the Universitas Gadjah Mada YouTube channel.

The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM student teams won three awards for three competition categories in the Aspiring Professional Accountant Festival (APAFest) 2021 organized by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI). IAI APAFest is an annual festival that gathers outstanding accounting students from all over Indonesia to show their achievements, creativity, and ability to compete to be the best.
