Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business UGM will conduct a Workshop with the topic "Introduction to Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) Modelling and Its Application".

The DSGE model is part of modern macroeconomic theory that is based on micro-foundations and explicitly models the behavior and interaction of economic agents. This model can be used to explain and predict business cycles, and can be used as a tool to analyze macro policies such as monetary policy, macroprudential policy, and fiscal policy.
