A total of 49 outstanding graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) for the 4th graduation period of the 2024/2025 academic year received educational savings from Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) through the BRILiaN NEXT Vol . 1 Intimate Dinner for Top Graduates program. Apart from being a form of appreciation for the outstanding graduates, the event also served as BRI’s effort to scout top talent.
At the BRILiaN NEXT (Navigate, Empower, eXplore Talent) Vol 1 Intimate Dinner for Top Graduates, held at the Student Center of Gelanggang Inovasi dan Kreativitas (GIK) UGM on Tuesday evening (26/08), the BRILiaN Scholarship Program (BSP) Award was presented to Yovania Maria Angelita P. (Accounting 2021), Ali Alexander (Management 2021), Diva Aprillia Simanjuntak (Economics 2021), and Salsabila Nurul Janah (Management 2021). In addition, BRI granted Golden Tickets to four graduates—fast-track access to the Interview & Background Checking stage—to Rohinun (Economics 2021), Dinda Redinata Fadilah (Accounting 2021), Grace Zefanya Octovella Situmorang (Economics 2021), and Firdausi Adiwijaya (Management 2021). Furthermore, Silver Tickets were awarded to 41 top graduates, providing fast-track access to BRI’s online potential assessment.
This event was BRI’s first appreciation night, which was held specifically for FEB UGM’s top graduates. It aimed to allow graduates to directly interact with BRI representatives, explore career opportunities, and showcase their potential and competencies in a warm and friendly setting. Additionally, the event served as a strategic platform bridging the academic world with the professional sphere, offering both preparation and direct recruitment opportunities.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, S.E., M.Com., Ak., CA., welcomed BRI’s initiative in presenting such special recognition for the graduates. He stated that this event was a moment of togetherness and appreciation for the students’ hard work during their studies at FEB UGM. He also hoped to continue collaboration with BRI to contribute to national development.
“We truly welcome BRI’s initiative and hope that this collaboration will continue so that it may contribute to building a prosperous and advanced Indonesia,” he said.
BRI Senior Executive Vice President, Steven Augustino Yudiyantho, highlighted that BRI initiated the BRILiaN NEXT program as part of efforts to discover Indonesia’s best talents. This aligns with BRI’s transformation journey to achieve its vision of becoming the most professional bank in Southeast Asia.
“This program is part of our effort to find future leaders,” explained the FEB UGM Management alumnus.
One management graduate, Firdausi Adiwijaya, expressed his delight at receiving a Golden Ticket. He admitted that he never expected to be chosen as one of the awardees.
“Thank you to BRI and FEB UGM for appreciating students with academic and non-academic achievements. This recognition continues to motivate us to contribute and achieve even more,” he said.
Leony Gracea, an Accounting graduate and one of the Silver Ticket recipients, also shared her thoughts.
“This program benefits graduates about to begin their professional careers,” she explained.
On this occasion, BRI’s Group Head of Human Capital Service Group, Melia Pramadhona, emphasized that BRI’s international transformation requires the support of top talent. Therefore, the BRILiaN NEXT program is a golden opportunity for both BRI and graduates to connect. She also introduced the BRILiaN Future Leader Program (BFLP), BRI’s flagship management trainee program, in her session. BFLP includes seven specialist tracks: BFLP Business Enabler, BFLP Micro Banking, BFLP Wealth Management, BFLP Wholesale Banking, BFLP Risk, BFLP Commercial Banking, and BFLP Consumer Banking. Two new specialist tracks are also coming soon: BFLP Audit and BFLP IT.
The requirements for BFLP are bachelor’s degree graduates aged up to 25 or master’s degree graduates aged up to 27, with a minimum TOEFL score of 500 or equivalent, unmarried, and committed to remaining unmarried for the one-year program duration. Experience in organizations, communities, or significant academic and non-academic achievements is considered additional value.
