The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), is offering complimentary breakfast and additional support services to ensure students can undergo the Final Examination (UAS) period optimally. This program runs from December 8 to 19, 2025, during the UAS period, and is open to all undergraduate students of FEB UGM.
Bayu Sutikno, S.E., M.S.M., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of FEB UGM, explained that this initiative reflects the faculty’s commitment to supporting students during exams.
“As a form of FEB UGM’s commitment to facilitating student success during the final examinations, we are providing a mood booster program in the form of 150 portions of food and beverages every day throughout the UAS period,” he explained on Tuesday (9/11/2025).
In addition to a complimentary breakfast, FEB UGM also provides a happy corner to offer psychological support for students. This happy corner is available free of charge for students who experience psychological challenges or anxiety during the exam period.
During UAS, FEB UGM has also extended the operating hours of the FEB UGM Library and the Alumni Corner study spaces, which are open until 9:00 PM. These efforts ensure that students have access to comfortable and adequate study facilities, supporting a smooth exam period.
“We hope students can go through the exam process well, honestly, and achieve the best results,” Bayu added.
The mood booster program has received positive responses from FEB UGM students. Abu Dharma Manggala, a 2025 student in the Economics Study Program, stated that the complimentary breakfast distribution has been beneficial, especially since he is a student living in a rented room and needs to manage his expenses carefully.
“This mood booster program is beneficial, especially since I live in a boarding house and need to save money. I hope this program can continue in the future,” he said.
Meanwhile, Garuda Mutia Shalahuddin, a 2025 student of the Management Study Program, shared that the mood booster program motivates him to face the exams. The meals provided are varied and nutritious.
“I hope this program continues in the coming years because it keeps us motivated during exams,” he said.
