On Friday (15/10) PT Angkasa Pura II handed over a donation for the acceleration of Covid-19 vaccination in the amount of Rp. 50,000,000.00 to Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada. Located in the Kertanegara Room, the event was held offline and attended by representatives of PT Angkasa Pura II, KAFEGAMA, SONJO, and Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.Com., as the Dean of FEB UGM.
The event started with opening remarks by the Dean of FEB UGM. In his speech, Prof. Didi Achjari expressed his gratitude for the trust that has been given by PT Angkasa Pura II to SONJO and KAFEGAMA. "We are very grateful that PT Angkasa Pura II still trusts SONJO and KAFEGAMA to distribute humanitarian aid in the hope that it can help accelerate vaccination for people in DIY," he said.
General Chairman of KAFEGAMA DIY, Bogat Agus Riyono, expressed hope that in the future after the distribution of donation from PT Angkasa Pura II, there will be more national, regional, private institutions, as well as individuals who contribute to helping the economy, especially in Yogyakarta, to revive.
Furthermore, Wiweko Probojakti or commonly called Dodit as Director of Finance PT Angkasa Pura II delivered his remarks. Dodit said that this pandemic had a very large impact on aviation activities, but PT Angkasa Pura II was still very grateful because they were still able to carry out the Environmental Social Responsibility programs managed by PT Angkasa Pura II. “Today's event is part of PT Angkasa Pura II Environmental Social Responsibility programs. This activity is part of our commitment and we are also very happy that this can be received on target, " said Dodit. Dodit also hopes that this donation can later be distributed by SONJO and can be useful for the community.
After that, Rimawan Pradiptyo, as the representative of SONJO, said that in the DIY region the vaccination program had not been implemented 100%. With the donation provided by PT Angkasa Pura II, it is estimated that it can be used for 25 vaccination activities with 1000 doses per activity. SONJO plans to coordinate with various parties and hopefully this donation will then be channeled for vaccination activities in Bantul, Kulon Progo, and Gunung Kidul areas. This activity was closed with a symbolic handover of donation and a photo session with representatives of PT Angkasa Pura II, KAFEGAMA, SONJO, and the Dean of FEB UGM.
