MD FEB UGM Program Celebrates 44th Anniversary

Master of Science and Doctoral Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (MD FEB UGM) celebrated its 44th Anniversary on Friday, September 27, 2024.
At the peak of the 44th Anniversary commemoration, the managing chairman, Prof. Jogiyanto Hartono, Akt., M.B.A., Ph.D., CMA, delivered a report on various fields that the MD FEB UGM Program successfully achieved over the past year. One of them is in the academic field. Currently, the MD FEB UGM Program has 237 active students in the master's program and 164 active students in the doctoral program. Furthermore, the admission quota for the M.Sc. program, 2024/2024 period, is 66 for regular and 27 for matriculation.
Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources, Suyanto, S.E., M.B.A., Ph.D., extended his congratulations to the MD FEB UGM Program on its 44th year. He expressed his hope that the program will continue to build on its past achievements, including AACSB, LAMEMBA, and BAN-PT accreditation, and strive for even greater success in the future.
"Accreditation is the main determinant of the quality of a program, and we hope that the Masters and Doctoral programs will continue to maintain their accreditation," he hoped.
The highlight of the anniversary celebration was the cutting of the Tumpeng by Prof. Jogiyanto Hartono, Akt., M.B.A., Ph.D., CMA, Suyanto, S.E., M.B.A., Ph.D., and Prof. Chess Sugiyanto, M.A., Ph.D. The cutting of the Tumpeng symbolizes gratitude for the success of the Master's and Doctoral Programs and the hope to continue moving forward.
In addition to the celebration, the anniversary was also enlivened with various activities. One is Anjangsana, held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. In addition, sports competitions, namely badminton and table tennis, were implemented. Egi and Rahmat won the badminton competition in the men's doubles category, while Egius and Fransisca won the mixed doubles. For the men's singles category in table tennis, Angga won the title.
