The Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), has once again provided educational assistance to the children of FEB UGM professional staff. The Chairperson of DWP FEB UGM, Rita Winarti, officially handed over the assistance on Wednesday, January 8, 2024, on the 8th floor of Pertamina Tower, FEB UGM.

Eight children from FEB UGM’s professional staff were granted educational assistance, ranging from elementary to high school. This initiative reflects DWP FEB UGM’s care and commitment to supporting the education of its employees’ children. In her remarks, Rita emphasized that this educational assistance program is a regular annual initiative of DWP FEB UGM.

“This assistance serves as recognition for the children of our professional staff who have excelled. We hope that this support will inspire them to be more enthusiastic in their studies,” she said on Wednesday (8/1).

Sutrisno, one of the professional staff members whose child received educational assistance, expressed his gratitude for the support given to his child, who is currently in junior high school. He hoped that the aid would encourage his child to study more diligently.

“I hope my child will be even more motivated in his studies, and I wish DWP FEB UGM continued progress,” he said.

Another professional staff member, Setyo Widodo, shared a similar sentiment. He expressed his gratitude for the assistance provided to support his child’s education. “This assistance is invaluable, and I hope it will continue in the future,” he said.

The Education Assistance Program for Employees’ Children is an expression of DWP FEB UGM’s care and support for the welfare of its professional staff.

FEB UGM Holds National Seminar and Local Government Digital Transformation Performance Ranking

News Friday, 29 August 2025

Efforts to accelerate digital transformation at the district/city local government level face various challenges. Although the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) regulation has been in effect since 2018, its implementation has not been optimal due to gaps in ICT infrastructure, inconsistencies between central and regional policies, minimal use of big data, and uneven digital literacy among the public.

In response to these challenges, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (FEB UGM), through the Centre for Information Systems Studies (PKSI), is once again holding a National Seminar and Award Ceremony for the Gadjah Mada Digital Transformation Governance Index (GM-DTGI) for District/City Local Governments in 2025.
