Cindy Chyntia Cendani (Accounting 2015), Undergraduate student of FEB UGM, won the first place in National Essay Competition "Millennial Generation" 2017 which was the pre-event of International Youth Forum on Innovation 2017 in Singapore. The competition is organized by EdConex International, a community that houses Indonesian young people to share their aspirations for the betterment of society, both nationally and internationally. The mechanism of this competition was that participants from all over Indonesia can submit their ideas on the challenges and opportunities of the 21st Century Youth in the form of an Indonesian-language essay. The deadline for collecting the paperwork was July 15, 2017.

The works submitted by all participants were then selected from July 20 to August 30, 2017. On September 2, 2017, the first, second and third winners were announced. The essay titled "KASIH: Menanamkan Kebaikan dan Nilai Luhur Bangsa melalui Aplikasi" written by Cindy successfully brought her winning first place in this competition.

As the first winner, Cindy was entitled to receive the grand prize of 7 Days 6 Night Holiday Packages to South Korea in January 2018. She also obtained a gold medal, a certificate of championship, an opportunity to be a partial funded participant in the International Youth Forum on Innovation (IYFI) Singapore held on 20-23 September 2017, and her essay will be published with ISBN.
