Deloitte RIC 2018 was organized by Indonesia’s largest public accounting firm, Deloitte. The competition is divided into two stages. The first stage was the submission of paper related to the risk analysis of a company that is undergoing a digital transformation. From a total of 80 teams participating in the Deloitte RIC, 6 eligible teams were invited to attend the workshop by Bramantio Ardi Nugraha, Director of Risk Advisory – Operational Risk as a speaker on the topic of “Enterprise Risk Management”. In addition to the workshop, the finalists also had the opportunity to have a tour in Deloitte’s office of Risk Advisory on April 5th 2018.

The next stage is the presentation of the case in front of Deloitte Indonesia on April 26, 2018. The finalists come from various universities such as Universitas Indonesia, Bandung Institute of Technology (two teams), Indonesia International Institute of Life Sciences and Universitas Gadjah Mada (two teams). The second team of UGM named ‘The ONE’ consists of Angelina Devia, Herlin Kuarso, Katherine Nginda, and Silvia Hanna from Accounting 2015.

In the final round, the finalists presented the results of their risk analysis and recommendations regarding the selected company in front of 3 panelists of judges (12 minutes analysis presentation and 7 minutes of questioning); Brian Indradjaja, Deloitte Indonesia Risk Advisory Leader; Tommy Hartanto, Risk Advisory Director; and Devita, Risk Advisory Manager. After the finalists presented their analysis results, the panelists announced the winner of Deloitte RIC 2018.
